Watched The Love Guru the day before yesterday. Didn't think is was as good as the Aston Powers movies but it had some pretty funny moments like the meeting in Mini Me's miniature office.

Last night we watched the last three episodes of season one of Hex. Bummer that season two hasn't been released on DVD yet. Even more of a bummer that it got cancelled after the second season. I read that it was given a proper ending at least.

Today has been another hot, sticky, and wet day of work and errands along with playing fixit woman.

Ended up taking the passenger door all apart on my Vette and fixed the sticking door lock servo by drowning it in WD-40. Seems to be working just fine now. The dealer wanted almost a thousand bucks to fix it by replacing everything.

Then the satellite in my office went out. Best I can tell something ate the cable leading from the dish to my office. Spent about a half hour in hot sticky hell out in the rain fixing it.

Tomorrow is the day for people to shoot guns into the air, burn down their neighbor's homes, die from blowing themselves up or driving under the influence or from falling bullets.

Looks like we may get a visit from Bertha although it is way too far away at this point to know what the storm will do.

Wow did we have storms last night. Every time I fell asleep I was woken back up by thunder.

Despite the rain I went out driving in it and took care of a bunch of little errands.

Other then running errands it been just a day of work. I was going to go to the gym this morning since I seem to be feeling better but decided to wait another day fearing getting myself sick again.

Looking forward to Christine getting home and relaxing while watching some more episodes of Hex.

Woken up last night by rain storms from hell so today is hot, sticky, and wet although it isn't still raining.

Been feeling like I have a mild Cold still. Not really sick sick but not myself either. I remember having the same symptoms a few years ago that lasted a about six weeks.

Today has just been another working day. Going to catch tonight's episode of Weeds and probably call it an early evening. Hopefully after a good night's sleep I'll be feeling up to getting out and running some errands and hitting the gym.

Hit the gym early this morning and noticed that I was getting congested. Maybe doing the gym wasn't such a good idea because now I feel like I have a Cold coming on and have felt like crap all day.

I ordered a new Bluetooth headset from Amazon today as my old one broke. This time I got the Plantronics Voyager 520 with the car charger. I've been reading reviews for the past week and it seems like most of them suck so it came down to getting one that seemed to suck the least.

I was the backyard tending to the animals and it felt like I was in a steam oven. This is the weather for the whole summer with the only change being an occasional hurricane. Guess I should just be happy that there doesn't seem to be much happening on the hurricane front and soon it will be paradise here while the north is freezing their asses off.

Guess I need to start going to the beach more now that it's too hot to do much of anything not involving water. I really need to get a couple of new bikinis or just start going to the nude beach. Not sure if trying on bikinis is more or less disturbing then fear of getting hurricanes again this year. Too bad the nude beach is is so far away.

I seem to be finally over this bug and back to my old self. Feels really good to be back to my old self.

Hit the gym this morning and then spent the afternoon working before two old friends of mine stopped by. Yesterday, after getting my teeth cleaned, we went out to dinner at Seasons 52 to celebrate Christine's birthday and then today I took her shopping inside air conditioned malls away from the hot and sticky outdoors. Bought her a few purses and some tops. Would have bought more clothes but both of us found the fashions that the stores are showing truly dreadful.

We are both exhausted from spending all day at the malls so going to call it an early evening and watch a movie or something laying in bed.

We tried to get out and do a few things today, like hit a mall or something, but as soon as we got out the rains came down. Not just any old rain but that tropical kind of rain that comes at you sideways.

Not wanting to tempt fate be trying to drive in rain that you can barely see the car in front of you we returned home and spent the afternoon watching the first four episodes of Hex. Almost feeling human again

Hot and sticky one today but the rains didn't start until late afternoon so we were able to get up early and go kayaking in Oleta Park.

I'm still not over this Cold so I had to really force myself to go this morning but glad I did. The park is really nice with featuring bike trails, beaches and little islands that you can pull up to and explore on foot.

The kayaks that we rented kind of sucked being hard to paddle and slow but they are very stable. On calm water they aren't bad but as soon as we got out into the bay there was no way we could keep up with the other paddlers who had brought their own kayaks.

We only stayed out few hours, both of us were exhausted, and then headed home taking the scenic ride along the beach.

We are having some pretty bad storms now so it's going to be a movies at home kind of night.

The never ending Cold

I'm beginning to think that Christine and I both caught something around the same time but not the same bug. I started out with stomach problems and nausea but no sore throat or sinus issues. Christine on the other hand didn't have any stomach problems or nausea but had a sore throat and stuffed up sinuses. Now her throat and sinuses are fine but she has stomach problems and nausea. I no longer have stomach problems or nausea but my sinuses are getting stuffed up and my throat is sore. It's like we both got other what we had but now have caught what the other had.

Been using a Neti Pot each time my sinuses start getting plugged up which seems to be really helping but damn I feel like crap.

Other then being a sick woman today it's been just another day of pics and vids of dicks and other body parts getting crammed into wet holes.

Some new movies arrived from Netflix today so going to cuddle up with Christine on the couch and watch a movie or two. Guess this would make us two sick bitches on a couch.

I was finally over this bug enough to drag my fat ass to the gym this morning. Ran some errands while I was out but it's pretty nasty outside today so spent the rest of the day indoors working.

Watched a movie last night called Garden State. The movie is about living life and not knowing what living life is about. It was enjoyable in an odd way.
