Wow I ended up knackered after last weekend. It didn't help at all that I also caught a mild cold that went away, returned, went away, came back and lingered just enough to ruin my groove for the last few days.

Another day of getting up before sunrise. I have this distant memory when I was single, thin, lonely and slept in each morning. Now I'm chubby, happy and sleep deprived.

Today is going to be another hot, sticky and steamy one here with another day of record heat forecast.

Going to finally make it back to the gym today and then a busy day of updates, errands, and picking up decorations for tomorrow's night Ghosts & Goblins Halloween paddle. I've never decorticated a kayak for Halloween or gone paddling on Halloween night so it should be fun. Hopefully I won't end up as exhausted as I was from last weekend.

Tranny on a Train

Ironically nothing else on me is sunburned except my ears although I've got a lot darker. I guess I just didn't think to put sunblock on my ears.

Christy took a three day weekend so that we can go kayaking and snorkeling at the some of the near by state parks. Friday we were too burnt out to do anything but lay in bed and get some rest but Saturday we went down to Biscayne National Park, kayaked out into the bay and snorkeled in the sea grass. Sunday we went up to Peanut Island, kayaked around the whole island and also did a little snorkeling.

What a difference having our own, much better then the rental kayaks, kayaks made. Without much effort at all we went around the whole island despite being sore from spending the previous day kayaking as well.

We also stopped by Coral Castle on the way back from Biscayne National Park. Christy had never been there and it's one of those unusual tourist attractions that you just have to see for the sake of seeing it.

This weekend was wonderful. Although we had a few storms move through our area the weather was mostly perfect, not being too hot with just the right amount of sunshine.

After spending two days kayaking I'm ready for a day of being a blob in my office chair and not doing anything more physical than pushing a mouse around.

Toy Using Lesbo Babes

The other day when we went kayaking I put my Casio EX-S500 into a Aquapac and took some pics which made me realize how much I like taking pics and how badly using a camera inside of a waterproof case sucks.

I bought the Sanyo waterproof camera sometime ago but have never liked its form factor plus it only takes SD video and rather lousy pics. Last time I took it into the ocean water leaked into the view screen. After drying it out it did start working again but the screen, which was always had to view in the sunlight, has now become almost impossible to view in the sunlight.

So now I'm shopping for a decent waterproof camera that shoots HD video and decent stills. Right now the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1 is looking to be about as close as I can find to a camera that has the features I'm looking for.

I think I've finally recovered from last Sunday's kayaking trip so going to hit the gym and try to work off some of this love fat I've put on this year. After the gym it's home for me for another gruelling day of trying to get somewhat caught up in work.

Hopefully the crappy weather we have been having for the last few days will pass by this weekend as we are planning on doing a bunch of kayaking for my birthday this weekend.

I think my arms are going to fall off...

Dispute yesterday starting off in the upper fifties it warmed up into the low seventies for an absolutely beautiful day for kayaking. We did the entire paddle around the island of Wilton Manors with a group of people from the South Florida Meetup group.

Today is another frigid start of the day here with record lows but it should get up into the seventies by this afternoon. Kind of a nice change being able to open the windows and snuggle under the covers.

It's odd how much of a swing in weather we are having. Last week we were having near record, possible record, heat for most of the week.

I'm really sore from yesterday so just a day of work planned for today.

Babe Getting Her Ass Stuffed

It's an ibuprofen kind of day again for me. I feel like I spent the last few days kayaking, building kayak stands, and then doing even more kayaking. My arms are so sore that I can barely use them but at the same time I feel great.

Since we weren't able to make the group Wednesday night paddle we did our own paddle late last night. It was a bit scary with just the two of us out in the dark in very black water but at the same time it was very peaceful and oddly enjoyable.

Being out in the dark without a PFD on was a great motivator to get around to buying a decent one. Been looking at the MTI PFDiva since it's made just for full figured big breasted ladies like myself. Been trying to find a local shop that has these in stock since, like all clothing, I want to try it on and see how it fits.

We finally got the hitch put on Christy's car last week. After much shopping around and getting U-Hau to some down in price a bit we had U-Haul install it. Everything is great but fuck is it hard to backup such a small trailer.

For our first paddle we took them over to the park up the street from us late Friday afternoon and went up and down Middle River until the sun went down.

Then Saturday we did about 10 miles kayaking according to Google maps, which only lets you figure street routes not water routes, in 90+ F degree heat. We went half way around the island of Wilton Manors and then turned around and went back.

Yesterday we took the kayaks out into the ocean and went snorkeling from them. It seems the only thing harder then backing up the kayak trailer is trying to get back in them from deep water wearing snorkeling gear. We can't wait to do it again.

Last night we started building the stand for our kayaks and this morning I finished it before the day's heat set in. It was nice to find a use for some of our old storm shutters.

Going to be taking it easy today and just running a few errands and trying to get somewhat caught up in work.

3 Skanks On A Dude

Christy took off this morning from work to get the hitch installed. I followed in my car so that she wouldn't have to sit there for the hour or so it was supposed to take.

So there we both are at 7 in the morning waiting for U-Haul to open. Ten minutes after U-Haul was supposed to be open the manager finally shows up only to tell us that they have fucked up our appointment and the parts aren't in and the price we were quoted was wrong.

He gives us a price that is $120 more then we were originally quoted and says that they can do it tomorrow. Not happy at all we tell him that we will think about it and leave.

After making many phone calls this morning to hitch installing places that was a bit like asking to have a red hot poker shoved up my ass I come to the conclusion that U-Haul's price is actually one of the better prices and probably is the least shady place to have the work done.

I did Google how much it would cost to buy everything and do it ourselves and it did work out to a decent savings but none of the places had the wiring harness in stock and most said it would be a week to ten days to get it in plus the time to ship it.

Not wanting to wait another two weeks to get the hitch not to mention having no desire to be crawling under a Scion TC bolting on hitches and installing wiring harnesses we opted to let U-Haul install the hitch tomorrow.

So I call U-Haul back and I'm assured that they can do it tomorrow but late today when I called just to make sure that they had received all the needed parts I'm told that they don't expect them in until 10 AM.

I'm not sure how they thought they could install something at 7 AM that wasn't arriving until 10 AM but this seems to be the way U-Haul does business.

As much as I want to tell U-Haul to shove the hitch up the manager's ass we don't seem to have any other option so now the hitch install has been rescheduled for Friday at 7 AM.

It's frustrating to say the least since yesterday we bought our seats, paddles, paddle leashes and hatches for our kayaks and today my kayak was delivered.

This afternoon I installed the hatches in both kayaks and got them ready for the water but without a trailer hitch we have no way of actually getting them to the water which is only one mile away.

Lesbian Waitressing Interview

Four kayak test paddles later including one in the dark on a lake in the middle of nowhere we finally have bought two kayaks.

Right after I ordered my RTM Tempo Christy found the RTM Disco on Craig's List so late last night we drove over, took it for a paddle and bought it. It was half the price of a new one and in perfect condition. Hopefully by this weekend mine will have arrived too and we can go kayaking.

Yesterday I went by the tag place to pickup a tag for the kayak trailer which turned into much more of an ordeal then it should have. First they made me go back to the kayak shop to get a bill of sale since they wouldn't accept the credit card receipt. Then they wouldn't take plastic or a check as payment and, as I didn't expect the fee to be so much, I didn't have enough cash so I had to go ATM hunting.

Going to go paddle and seat shopping today after going to the dentist and tomorrow UHaul is putting the hitch on Christy's car.

Other than shopping for accessories for little plastic floating things and having a dentist stick his fingers in my mouth just another thrilling day of a screen full of naked human animals.

Hardcore Swinger House Party

It's been a rough few days the last few days. This week did not get off to a good start at all.

I was eating a Boca Burger with Bac-Os on it whilst talking on the phone and one of the Bac-Os got between my front teeth and broke one of the porcelain veneers that I have on my front teeth. Two trips to the dentist later and I've got a temp in my mouth for two weeks plus needing two more trips to the dentist before getting my new permanent porcelain veneer and a $1200 dentist bill. Bac-Os are officially off my list of things that I will eat now.

Then while I'm sitting in the dentist chair I'm noticing that I'm feeling a bit of discomfort down below so I call my doctor who has me come in and it turns out that I have a UTI so now I'm on really expensive antibiotics again for the next seven days that my insurance company doesn't cover.

So since I already had to dig into my savings to pay unexpected medical bills we decided to throw caution to the wind and take the money we had planned on using to take a vacation and do something else even more expensive although much longer lasting.

First we were going to DC for my birthday but then we changed to going to Boston when we found out that our friend in DC only had a studio apartment but then we decided to go to the Keys and avoid the hassles of flying but now we have decided to buy a couple of kayaks along with a trailer to haul them instead.

This weekend we are going to shop some more but right now it is looking like we are going to get two Scupper Pros although the Scupper Pro is actually out of production so we may get the RTM Tempo which is made from the same mold.

Today I found a good deal on the Yakima Rack and Roll trailer that was a floor model so bought it and it was delivered this afternoon. Now we need to get a hitch put on our Scion TC so that we can actually pull this trailer.

After I bought the kayak trailer the kayak shop offered to bring an assortment of kayaks to the park up the street from us so we are going to try to meet up with them late tomorrow afternoon if Christy can get away from work.

Both of us are really looking forward to finally being able to kayak without the hassles of renting kayaks or often getting stuck using kayaks that aren't decent to paddle. There is often an evening paddle up the street from us along with other paddles with a group that we meet through Meetup that we haven't been able to participate in most of the time due to us not owning our own kayaks.

Christy got me into kayaking and I got Christy into snorkeling. Kayaking and snorkeling seems like the perfect blend of two sports.

Maybe the weekend of my birthday we can finally go kayaking and snorkeling in Biscayne National Park for a day.
