We got up early yesterday morning and trimmed the bushes in our front yard. I ended up with a mild case of heat exhaustion and I'm not sure if there is any part of my body that isn't sore as hell.

I came up with an idea to make a gravity bird feeder out of a paint roller pan and a seed storage container. They already get fresh water twice a day automatically so it's only food that needs to be provided, that and a lot of attention.

We stopped by Home Depot yesterday and picked up the paint roller pan plus some hardware and then this afternoon I put it all together using a seed storage container that we already had.

I filled it about a third of the way up with seed and going to see how well it works out over the next few days. Hopefully it will allow us to get away for four or five days at a time without worrying about our macaws.

Last night was the season premier of Dexter and it was awesome. It must be a bitch to misplace part of a body you just cut up. The writers certainly have a twisted sense of humor. This season is looking to be the best yet as well as the darkest yet.

Looks like it was good thing all the outdoor stuff has been taken care of today as we are having an almost hurricane like storm now.

I either have to find a way to no longer need to sleep or figure out how to have more hours in the day.

Didn't get to sleep until late after Spanish class last night. I'm so sleep deprived that in class I kept on making stupid mistakes even when I knew the correct answers. Today I was up again before sunrise due to Christy's schedule which is killing the both of us.

Today is another busy day for me today.

Besides a bunch of piles of dirty laundry to do I've got my usual work to do on top of a backlog due to getting behind in work.

We are still looking at our option for getting away for a few days next month but probably have decided on doing something close to home and avoiding the hassles and expense of flying by going to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park for a few days at the same time that Fantasy Fest is taking place so that we can also do a day down to Key West to check out Fantasy Fest.

Watched the HBO movie Grey Gardens last night after a friend told us what a wonderful movie it was. It wasn't the worst movie that I've ever seen but why anyone would want to spend a few hours watching two old bags, both eccentric, living in a dump that once was a beautiful mansion is beyond me. It was rather boring but I kept on hoping through the whole movie that something was going to take place that would make the movie somewhat interesting but it was just talk, talk, and more boring talk. In the end I found the movie boring and depressing

Christy and I have been trying to figure out how to get away for a few days next month. At most we can only get away for four days so our choices are someplace close like the Keys or flying someplace. Since this year has been less than great money wise along with a bunch of unexpected expenses we are also trying to do this inexpensively while getting the most bang for the buck.

In a few months we will be able to take more time off and probably will be able to spend more on a vacation but by then winter will be here so traveling up north is out of the question which is where we mostly want to travel to. It's starting to look like we may have to wait until spring to take a real vacation but damn, we both really need one now.

I picked up another mainstream client this week that was originally hosted at GoDaddy and started off as a template site. Spent the last few days moving the site to much better hosting and cleaning up its code and adding stuff.

It feels good to be working on something new in addition to my usually work load although I've barely had time for my Spanish classes not to mention anything resembling a personal life.

I've also been recovering from playing racquetball for the first time in a few months that left me so sore that I could barely move for a few days.

It's not like there has been much to do besides indoor type stuff like work, classes and racquetball anyway since the weather lately has pretty much sucked, like it usually is this time of year here.

It has been either raining or hot, sticky and full of mosquitoes outside. We are thinking of getting away for a few days sometime next month but so far our choices are Boston where it is already getting too cold for my southern ass or the Keys which might get rained out.

Dead rats... since last night we have been trying to find out where the stench of death was coming from. Finally found a dead, very large, rat under the couch in our TV room that one of our cats must have caught and brought into the house. Not a good way to start the day at all but at least the smell is gone.

Spent the last few days setting up mobile porn sites. It's amazing how time consuming this is. Something like three days has gone by since I started the project and I've ignored everything else so now I need to play catchup in everything starting today.

I still get disheveled when I'm reminded of what happened today.

There are two permanent holes in the ground where there once was two magnificent buildings, that for me, are a reminder of the success of the terrorists attacks.

I watched the towers being built with my father when I was a child and visited them on a few occasions including having dinner in the Top of The World Restaurant. I remember when they first opened there was a design problem that allowed the buildings to sway in the wind so much that it gave you motion sickness. I personally think by not building the towers back the terrorist won.

It seems I'm not the only one that feels the towers should be rebuilt. The Twin Towers Alliance is still trying to have the Twin Towers rebuilt.

Having a memorial at the site of the rebuilt Twin Towers, for me at least, seems more fitting then leaving the destruction left by the terrorists for remembering all those that lost their lives in the attack.

Took a much needed day off today from work and hit the mall up the street.

We finally got around to watching one of the movies we had laying around called Pineapple, not to be confused with Pinapple Express.

The synopsis of Pineapple doesn't begin to convey just how disturbing the movie really is.
"Despondent after his unfaithful wife leaves him and fights for custody of their young daughter, Andrew (Steven Chester Prince) seeks comfort from his new friend, an exotic dancer. But as their relationship develops, she drags him into her world of drugs and lurid sex. Soon, Andrew finds himself becoming deeply enmeshed in this disturbing and depraved world. Eliza Swenson and Lee Tergesen also star in this erotic drama."

Like the movie Requiem for a Dream the movie is about the downward spiral of one man's addiction. The SM theme of using a safeword is also important in "Pineapple". The movie is a very well made indie film that deals with the theme of how addictions can spiral out of control and quickly destroy a person's life.

Dispite some less then positive reviews of Pineapple I would highly recommend this movie.

Spent the last few days doing updates to various sites that I manage and in script hell setting up a Porn Tube. I think it is a pretty decent Tube Site with thousands of easy to find high quality movies that are updated throughout the day.

Going to be getting some much needed time away from the computer today by going to the gym and then going to a drum circle tonight if the weather stays nice.

I looks like a giant cotton ball is heading towards Florida that has been given the name of Erika.

It's only a tropical storm and not even expected to be anything more than a tropical depression be the time it gets here but my insurance company called me today saying that I needed to remove all the ivy growing along our roof soffits before this dangerous storm got here.

I'm baffled by how ivy could be a storm hazard but not wanting to be without windstorm coverage I had no choice but to capitulate to this absurd request so I went up on a ladder today and pulled down all the dangerous ivy growing on the roof soffits and then took pictures that I emailed to them proving that the dangerous ivy had been removed. Actually the pictures were not enough as I also had to email them a scan of a hand written letter saying that the dangerous ivy had been removed.
