Been wanting to go to the beach but it's raining for like the three weeks or something now so nothing much else to do but stay inside and watch a lot of movies. One that was a cute funny flick was called I want Candy about college guys that make a porn movie.
Another one that was not cute, funny or even enjoyable was Bad Lieutenant. The drug scenes were really hard to watch and the full frontal nude of Harvey Keitel dancing stoned was kind of gross.
The new Showtime show Nurse Jackie was about the best thing we watched and all of us loved it.
Last night another couple came over and we decided to try playing cards instead of just sitting around doing nothing. I haven't played cards since I was a teenager but it turned out to be a lot of fun. First we tried to play Spades but only one of us knew how to play it. Then we tried playing 21 but without playing for money it was a bit boring. We ended up playing Gin Rummy since we all knew how to play although it was a distant memory for all of us.
I guess I'm settling in on married life. I know I've never been happier.
