Another thrilling day of going through categories plus all the other totally mind numbing work that I've been doing.

I really need more vacation time. We are thinking of going up to DC in a month or so since we both love museums and Christy knows someone that we can stay with.

Ended the day by losing a game of indoor racquetball to Christy.

My Chia Obama is not looking a thing like the picture on its box so I moved it outside under the fountain in the front yard and already it is looking much better. Still I don't see it ever looking like the perfect image on the box. No big surprise as I pretty much kill all house plants. I guess it is a good thing that I'm not a farmer.

Back to my normal routine today. Gym, errands, work, more errands, more work , end the day by vegging out.

We had planned to end the day by playing racquetball but by this evening both of us were too knackered to do anything except call it a day.

Tomorrow is telephone catchup day so will be making all the phone calls that I've been putting off. Hurricane season is not far away all the insurances on the house are coming due. I loath insurance shopping so have been putting it off along with a bunch of other calls that I've never returned.

Both of us reached maximin burn out last week so we hoped in Christy's Scion tC and went on a road trip to St. Augustine in upstate Florida and stayed with an old stripper friend of mine.

We spent a good part of out first day exploring Castillo de San Marco since we both love history and spooky old places.

Second day there did the tourist thing and took the tourist train and then went to jail. Actually we paid to do the jail thing. It was part of the tourist train ticket package that we got talked into and was actually very campy.

We headed back late Sunday afternoon after doing the jail thing. We had really wanted to do explore the old lighthouse but were just too knackered to walk up and down 200+ steps.

It was nice to wake up in my own bed but one of our cats didn't show up until later this morning so I was worried about her all night.

It was back to the grind today with a thousand and one things to do since I took a few days but both of us feel renewed.

We will probably head back up to St. Augustine sometime soon, still have that lighthouse to explore.

Tranny Screwing a Tranny In The Ass

Spent most of today doing more work on Cleo's Links. It's hell trying to remember how I setup things so long ago. I'll get into it's bits and pieces of templates and includes and realize that I've totally forgotten how I set things up or what is where.

While trying to add a small feature yesterday I ended up doing a minor unplanned design update to it rather then deal with obsolete hard to update templates. At some point I want to update the design to a tableless design using css but that will probably have to wait until I switch to Dreamweaver for doing design work.

On the plus side I'm far more knowledgeable about website development. What seemed overwhelming back when I set much of this up is now basic knowledge that I have a good understanding of.

Took this evening off and played racquetball with Christy at the gym. She says I've gotten much better yet she still kicks my ass and wins every game. At least I seem to be getting more points in these days.

Wasn't it just Saturday? The time vampire seems to have gotten me.

Been working on Cleo's Porn Links for days on end now. It's really tedious time consuming mindless work.

So much for coming up for air yesterday. Spent the whole day glued to the computer messing with htaccess files, scripts, and all the other black hole of time that doing this for a living entails. I never even got dressed and probably wouldn't have showered if it wasn't for Christy reminding me that I stank.

I did finally figure out and implement what I was trying to do so now I can move on to less stressful but equally time consuming stage of this little project that has consumed my time.

After some minor and not so minor bug fixing this morning I actually got dressed and made it out of the house.

Christy's boss got a DUI and spent the night in jail so she was off today which worked out great for us although I guess not so great for her boss.

The two of us hopped on or bicycles and rode over to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park for some off road trail ridding which was just what I needed to unwind and clear the code out of my head.

The weather could not have been much more prefect. Not hot, not cold, with an overcast sky to block out the sun's heat, just perfect.

I guess tomorrow will be back to the grind...

Another day in script hell...

I thought I was done setting up scripts after the last few days of work but then I realized that I had Google spidering pages that I didn't want it to. So another day shot figuring out how to get Google to spider pages in a one subdirectory without having it spider the pages in the parent directory.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get to do some work besides trying to figure out scripts and htaccess files and obscure shell commands.

On the plus side I've learned a lot of stuff over the last few days.

Woke up before sunrise with Christy since she had to go by the Fort Lauderdale police station to be fingerprinted but when she arrived she was told that the police station is closed until Thursday due to school. I guess if you are going to commit a crime in Fort Lauderdale you should do it before Thursday.

Went to the gym noonish after having espresso with a Red Bull chaser and then finished categorizing gay guys. I had planned on starting on another category but ended up in script hell instead installing and configuring Sitemap software so that Google will find all my new categories that I'm in the process of adding.

When Christy got off from work we went back to the gym and played racquetball and on the way home stopped at Jamba Juice to have a smoothly and pickup a few things from the grocery store.

As we are walking back to my car one of the trannies that I work with called with a tech support question and distracted me as we were putting the groceries in the car and I managed to lock my keys in the Vette. A hour later we still were waiting for road side assistance, no wonder GM is going bankrupt, when Christy tripped over a piece of stiff clothes hanger type wire. Took me about 90 seconds to pop the door lock on the Vette and home we went.

Hoping for a more relaxing less stressful day tomorrow.

The movie Otis turned out to be a bit of a disappointment but the movie Everything is Illuminated turned out to be extremely entertaining and visually captivating.

Besides watching the movie Everything is Illuminated yesterday I returned to playing racquetball indoors. OMG I'm out of shape but I did manage to get some decent points before losing as usual to Christy. Playing on playing again tomorrow after Christy gets off from work.

Christy had off yesterday so we had a fun filled day of mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning all the bathrooms.

Exhausted we decided to watch one of the Netflix movies we hadn't yet watched. First one was one that Christy had rented named Cecilia which turned out to be basically really bad softcore 80's porn and after a few minutes of goofing it got bored and moved on to the next one which was Brand Upon the Brain that I had rented. Another real winner that I rented. The movie started off with a deranged man torturing a woman, killing her, and sawing off body parts. We didn't make it past the cadaver limb amputation beginning.

Finally took a shower together and watched the season finally of United States Of Tara.

Many people say that Florida doesn't have seasons but it does. We have beautiful winter weather that last many months although not long enough and then we have the summer hell of heat, humidity and hurricanes. Somewhere between the two extremes we have a short spring of hot but not yet humid weather. Besides spending the day slaving at the computer I spend some of the afternoon doing some gardening which was very relaxing. Going to catch tonight's episode of Ugly Betty and probably not do much else.
