If I didn't already have enough to do today I'm taking care of my friend's African Grey and cats while she is vacationing in Manhattan. Wouldn't be so bad but she lives on the south side of town and I live on the north side of town so it isn't around the corner.
She also asked me to scoop the cat's litter boxes but I'm really not into digging for turds so I picked up a big bag of litter and just dumped the boxes and then added fresh litter.
Speaking of cats... The PT Cruiser that Gieco rented Christine smells like cat piss plus it is just slightly more underpowered then your average moped but at less then $2 a day after insurance reimbursement it is hard to complain.
Sadly it is looking like Christine's Scion is totaled. Damn, the car is only five months old. Gap insurance will pay off the loan but she will be left with nothing to put down on a new car. She had a CAT scan this afternoon to see why her neck is killing her. It's really looking like lawsuit time. We had really hoped on avoiding a lawsuit but with expenses mounting due to this accident I don't think we are going to have a choice. Hopefully the driver had insurance but by the way he looked I'm doubtful that he did.
