Ike is getting closer with its projected path to be passing south of us but just incase in turns north we will be ready to duct tape our pets to the concrete walls while watching the barrage of senseless commercials as we get the crap scared out of us watching the local news.
At least I didn't end up spending time waiting in line to buy gas today.
We still have some weeks of hurricane season left so the gas I bought the other day may still end up being used for the generator but it's looking pretty good that it will end up being used in our cars.
Had friends over and watched movies most of the afternoon as we celebrated another storm missing us.
