I've still got alot of unused hurricane supplies from Ike.
It isn't looking too good for where Ike hit although it is pretty funny watching the newscasters standing in the storm reporting and trying to not get blown over.
Looks like gas prices will be going up. It's ironic that the gas I bought for Ike and never used is going be helpful due to Ike after all. I think we have enough gas to last us for about six months in both of our cars. At least if another storm doesn't come our way first. I still have horrific memories of the October hurricane named Wilma.
Had planned on a relaxing day at the beach today but Christine seems to have come down with a nasty head cold so instead hit the gym this morning and then watched a movie named Strangers in Good Company with Christine. Not really sure why I rented a movie about a bunch of old ladies lost in the woods. Didn't hate the movie but it wasn't all that entertaining either.
