Watching the triptych of nasty storms in the Atlantic. Hurricane Ike has me very worried. It's already a cat 4 with wind gusts of 180 mph. Hopefully it will turn or something but right now it is projected to be coming right at us.
Unless something changes overnight I'm planning on stocking up on gas and food (again) tomorrow before the panic sets in and long lines form.
DirecTV installer came this afternoon to run a second line to the Tivo in our bedroom. The timing was perfect as this morning we lost all of our HD channels after the rain got into the multiplex switch. What a pleasant surprise this one turned out to be. He replaced and properly mounted the multiplex switch that the last one left unmounted dangling in the rain and wind, ran all the wires neatly, and was polite and professional.
