Went for my longest kayak trip yet and did about 8 miles or so on a four hour night trip.
We left at George English Park in a tandem kayak. It was our first time kayaking at night. Surprisingly it wasn't nearly as dark as I thought it was going to be but dark enough that you could only see the running lights of approaching boats, The city lights made for beautiful refections on the water and watching the sun go down as we were paddling was an awesome sight. One of the really great things about doing is a night paddle is no hot sun to deal with and very few boats.
I'm totally exhausted and laying in bed now but so sore that I'm not sure how well I'll be able to sleep.
