Didn't we just do this? Here comes tropical storm Gustav. I'm so over these storms. The reality is no one knows what they are going to do other then to say what direction it is headed at the moment but the media makes such a big deal out of each one. I'll probably pick up some more gas if it gets closer but I enter each season prepared for the worst and hoping for the best.
Ordered a couple of speaker stands from Amazon today. I've placed the left and right surround sound speakers everywhere that was posable without using stands but with the TV in the corner and a window on each side there just isn't anyplace to place them that sounds good.
Watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead tonight. The acting is first rate, the movie unfolds in flashbacks with almost unbearable dramatic tension. Very disturbing and very captivating.
Just got a phone call from an old stripper friend of mine that needs a place to stay for a few nights. She is coming down tomorrow to dance at the club up the street.
