Went kayaking around 9 am this morning around Wilton Manors. We've gotten bored with the Wilton Manors paddle but there was a MeetUp group this morning there.
The Wilton Manors paddle is a scenic paddle with lots of iguanas along the way and only a few miles from where we live. We only stayed out a short time before the heat and boredom of the familiar got the better of us but it was nice if not brief.
We really need to get our own kayaks so that we can paddle other places besides areas with rentals. Trouble is neither of our sports cars can tote kayaks. So first we need to get something that can tote a few kayaks. I'm considering getting a used Jeep next year after Christine finishes interning and goes back to work full time. I don't mind if the exterior is a bit beat up but with a decent interior and canvas. Should be fun to take the top off and going to the beach or for toting bicycles or kayaks.
Planning a relaxing evening at home tonight. A few friends are joining us and we are going to make it a movie night.
