Just another hot, muggy, and storming day spent indoors working with the A/C blasting and naked flesh on the computer screen.
My macaws have laid another egg and the female is staying in the makeshift breeding box that I made sitting on it. Going to just let them be and see what comes of this. A long time ago I raised cockatiels somewhat successfully. With my past experience in raising birds I did best letting them be and then spending a lot of time with them as soon as they left the nest so that the birds would be human friendly. Probably not as good as totally hand raised birds but it seemed to do.
Having some friends over tonight for movies, munchies, and whatever comes our way.
