Busy day

It has been a busy day of work and errands while dealing with the rain.

Needed a break from my routine so attacked the house needs to do list. Oddly while at Home Depot I found a table uplight accent lamp for under 20 bucks that fit my needs very well. I put a directional halogen spotlight in it so that it floods the ceiling with light instead of radiating through the sides of the shade and I may disconnect its internal touch dimmer so that I can put a dimmer remote on it since it is in a corner and not convenient to operate.

While I was out the left turn light went out on my Vette. It's a bit over 10 bucks for the bulb and no one but GM seems to have it in amber so I got to spend time today in the Chevy parts department. I should have know that it was going to go out since the right hand one went out lat week and used up my spare bulb. I've learned how to reach my hand through the air scoop and change it instead of unbolting the access panel but it is still a bitch to do. These bulbs are also the Vette's running lights and are always on so burn out often. Why do I own this car again?

Watched a movie called The Magdalene Sisters. I have complete disdain for organized religion so watching this movie was very difficult. It really paints a raw harsh visual of just how fucked up the Roman Catholic Church really is. It's a good movie with some great acting but very disturbing.
