Hot and sticky one today but the rains didn't start until late afternoon so we were able to get up early and go kayaking in Oleta Park.
I'm still not over this Cold so I had to really force myself to go this morning but glad I did. The park is really nice with featuring bike trails, beaches and little islands that you can pull up to and explore on foot.
The kayaks that we rented kind of sucked being hard to paddle and slow but they are very stable. On calm water they aren't bad but as soon as we got out into the bay there was no way we could keep up with the other paddlers who had brought their own kayaks.
We only stayed out few hours, both of us were exhausted, and then headed home taking the scenic ride along the beach.
We are having some pretty bad storms now so it's going to be a movies at home kind of night.
