Joys of home ownership
It looked like it was going to rain today but never did. Maybe it was just all the haze from the burning Everglades. Hopefully we will have a whole lot of rain soon that will put out the Everglade fires but hopefully not over this coming three day weekend.
Today was stifling hot although not that humid (not humid for South Florida anyway) and very smokey. Despite it being hot and miserable outdoors I decided to do more yard work.
Spent about half of today cleaning up the last of the Eureka palms. This one was right outside my office window so now my office is like overwhelmingly bright. Now I really need to get blinds for my office windows.
After all this month's yard trimming I've ended up with this monstrous pile of yard waste next to my driveway that I'm going to have to move curbside for Monday's bulk trash pickup.
