I was barely out of bed when I read my email saying that a friend was on her way over with bagels. So I rushed into the shower and made myself somewhat human looking. By noon a few more people had joined us for coffee, tea, and bagels.
After everyone left I thought I would do an afternoon gym workout but as soon as I started getting ready for the gym got another phone call from someone that I hadn't seen since my neighbor died saying that she was in the neighborhood and wanted to drop by.
Then a few more people dropped by. Next thing I knew my house was full of people again. Rain letup long enough that we were able to spend sometime in the backyard playing with the birds. The cat that my neighbor left me seemed to remember Debbie who was also a friend of my neighbor. You wouldn't think that a cat would remember someone like that but he ran right up and didn't leave Debbie's lap the whole time.
Somewhere in all of this I still managed to get all my work done and know I'm thinking of hitting a club or something but not really sure what I'm doing on this rainy night.
