No Sweat Friday
Didn't get to the gym until this afternoon due to morning company. It's nice waking up with someone that also enjoys coffee in the morning. The weather this morning can only be described as beautiful so I setup some chairs in the backyard and we sipped coffee while her dog played in the yard. I forgot to bring a towel to the gym but it wasn't a big deal since lately I barely break a sweat. I'm also no longer getting night sweats so I guess this means that I've gotten healthy again.
The headphone adapter that I bought so that I could use my old headphones with my iPhone started giving me issues today at the gym so I ran over to the Apple store and bought Ultimate Ears super.fi 4vi Mobile Earphones for iPhone. Most expensive headphones that I've ever bought but after using them I would say that they are well worth the money. I may do the gym again tomorrow just so that I can get to use them.
Did a little more shopping while at the mall. Tried on a bunch of clothes but didn't find anything that I liked. Still I managed to drop a bunch of money at Sephora on makeup and skin care products. Not sure if it was the new clothes that I was wearing or the fact that I've lost the weight that I put on or if it was just one of those days but I was getting all kinds of attention. I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy it but was a bit surprised by it. Even at the gym today a few of the regulars started conversations with me and one even told me how much he enjoyed talking with me. I wasn't really planning on going out tonight since I went out last night and have a date tomorrow night but may hit the woman's bar up the street from me since I seem to glowing today.
Last night was a whole lot of fun. Nothing like what I was expecting. Lips is kind of like a Wax museum done burlesque style. The food was surprisingly good and the show had me hurting from laughing so much. The crowd was a mix of straight, gay, lesbian, and trannies. I was at the VIP table in front of the stage and the table next to use was a group of elderly lesbians.
This must be the time for breakups. Besides my own relationship ending it seems like a lot of my friends have breaking up. Last night while waiting outside for the rest of my group to arrive at Lips an old friend called me very upset due to breaking up with her girlfriend. Nothing you can really do other then listen and try assure them that everything will be ok. I'm probably going to spend sometime with her this week after work. We haven't seen each other in months so we will have a lot of catching up to do and I guess we will both bitch about our fucked up relationships.
