Oddly I seem to surrounded by way more people now that I'm single again. I've been waking up over morning coffee with my racquetball friend almost every morning and today we were joined by my friend Christina. The weather has been absolutely beautiful so we spent most of our time outside in my backyard. Starting off the day over good company, coffee, and breakfast treats is a wonderful way to start the day.

Didn't make it to the gym until mid afternoon due to the morning get together. Turns out that mid afternoon is a great time to go to my gym as almost no one is there. I ended up working out for over two hours. I seem to have gotten in the best shape that I've been in years.

Had sushi for dinner with a few friends over at Tee Jay Thai Sushi again. It is my favorite place for sushi so I've been going there a lot.

Ended up watching the first episode of this season's L Word again tonight since my friend Sharon hadn't seem it. I guess Sharon will be joining our weekly L Word watching group.

Played three games of racquetball at the park with my new friend first thing this morning. I was going to the gym this morning but then a friend called asking if she could do a load of wash at my place so instead I spent the morning dusting and mopping floors.

Today was an absolutely beautiful day so I opened all the windows, invited some friends over, which turned ito a lot of friends over, along with their pets, and ordered a couple of pizzas.

Speaking of going places... Wow gas has gotten expensive. After getting a tank of bad gas on New Year's eve I've been filling with Chevron with Techton to clean the fuel system which also seems to cost a bit more. The other night I was in South Beach where gas also seems to cost a bit more. Paid just under $4 per gallon at the Chevron down there. With the issues we are already having with the economy and gas prices going up so much at the same time It really is looking like our economy is fucked.

BTW, Chevron with Techton really does work. My car is running great after a few tanks and my car's fuel gage is also working properly now.

I really need to start getting more sleep. I finally went to bed a bit after two in the morning and couldn't really fall asleep and then one of my friends called a little before three rather drunk and I ended up talking to her for over a hour. Didn't get to the gym until this afternoon due to morning company. It's nice waking up with someone that also enjoys coffee in the morning. Did a little more shopping while at the mall. Tried on a bunch of clothes but didn't find anything that I liked. Still I managed to drop a bunch of money at Sephora on makeup and skin care products. Not sure if it was the new clothes that I was wearing or the fact that I've lost the weight that I put on or if it was just one of those days but I was getting all kinds of attention. I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy it but was a bit surprised by it. Even at the gym today a few of the regulars started conversations with me and one even told me how much he enjoyed talking with me. I wasn't really planning on going out tonight since I went out last night and have a date tomorrow night but may hit the woman's bar up the street from me since I seem to glowing today.

Another rainy chilly day.

I haven't been sleeping well at all and I'm really feeling it today. My body is telling me that it needs a good night's sleep but I can't seem to even take a nap.

I guess due to lack of sleep I've been having trouble remembering things all day and making dumb mistakes while trying to work. My new friend, who works evenings, has been stopping by in the morning. It's nice having someone to chat with over morning coffee. Been fixing up bird cages today. The Hyacinth Macaw that I am taking care of has been plucking his feathers for sometime. The cage that Bill kept him in had no toys, branches, or anything at all for him to chew on and play with although Bill did say that he took him out often. I've got set him up in parrot wonderland with lots of toys, branches, and stuff to keep him amused so I'm hoping that he will stop plucking. Tomorrow I'm going to cut up even more branches and add a fruit tray. I went over to the pet store and bought vitamin fortified pellets to mix in with their seed since Bill said he has been feeding them only rice and beans (not sure why he was feeding them rice and beans) that he cooked each morning for him. I'm hoping that my macaw and the new macaw will become good friends but the Hyacinth I think will end up more of a house pet. He really is like a small dog.

Not a lot happening today other then more of the same old... just trying to get used to being single again.

Hard to believe it is the middle of winter with the temps as high as they have been but I'm not complaining at all.

Dropped off the Vette this morning to get the tire fixed. There was a huge hole in the tire so I had to get new run-flat. Bad gas, nice get together, flat tire. That sums up my New Year's Eve.

So far today isn't going any better. Spent the day on an emotional roller coaster with my partner. I'm exhausted... hopefully tomorrow will go better.
