Back on wheels
Got the Vette back this afternoon. After all the hassle and everything the Steering Column Lock was replaced at a cost of less then two thirds what it was originally going to cost to fix it. The whole thing makes no sense as the failure code that was coming up on my dash was for the Steering Angle Sensor. I paid to have the Steering Column Lock was replaced some years ago and the GM sent me a refund due to it being a recalled item. Then earlier this year when I was getting some clutch work done on it the dealer disabled the Steering Column Lock under a recall. Now I just got stuck paying to have the Steering Column Lock replaced again. American cars and their service really does suck.
I cracked a rib the day before yesterday doing something stupid in my backyard which oddly is hurting much more today then anytime since I broke it.
Yesterday was a beautiful day and it didn't rain once during the picnic in at Topeekeegee-Yugnee park. I was my usual unsocial self and climbed a tree with an ex, who is also and ex of my present love, where we smoked weed and watched everyone eat lots of food until it was time to go home.
Watched a rather odd but enjoyable movie call Joyride the other night. Last night we watched Dexter which is getting better and better.
Going to crawl onto a heating pad and become one with my couch in a bit. Season finale of Weeds is tonight and hoping to make it back to the gym tomorrow now that I have a car again.
