The sun is shinning and it is raining
Sun was out for a bit today but lots of rain again.
My domestic partner (we still haven't figured out what to call each other) got kicked out of school for basically not being American enough. She was born in Florida but also lived in Panama and Brazil as a child so she also speaks Spanish and Portuguese. You would think that the school system would want teachers with this ability but it seems not. Personally I think it may have something to do with her interning in the all white redneck school district and that she would have done much better interning in South Florida where we have a very ethnically mixed culture. She will be coming back this week to live full time with me again I'm happy but it is bitter sweet.
