Periodontist day
Had a not very fun appointment with the periodonti$t today. They did a deep scaling on all four quadrants of my mouth. First time I've ever had all my mouth numbed at once. Next week I'm having laser surgery on my gums and the very last molar on one side of my month extracted plus a wisdom tooth on the other side extracted so I'm guessing that as bad as today was next week will be much worse.
I'm still rather sore from today but mostly from where they gave me the novocain shots.
At least after next week's periodontist visit the worst will be over and other then maybe a little cosmetic work with my new regular dentist I don't need any other dental work. I am a little concerned about losing my number two molar and had asked about having an implant put there but I'm told that I wont miss the tooth at all.
