We had storms from hell last night but today has been mostly clear.

Buster, our missing cat, came home late last night and we all got a good night's sleep since no cat fights to awaken us in the middle of the night plus no cat piss all over the place to clean up today.

We played racquetball this morning. First time I've been back to the gym in about ten days. Feels good to be getting back to normal but it's going to be a few more days before I'm 100% again.

Watched a few movies this afternoon including one called Crank. Crank is a seriously twisted movie that is entertaining in a cartoonish way that somehow manages to be a cute action flick.

My thinking is to get something lower end for now but something that will still have its uses even after I get a better one so I've been looking at the Sanyo Xacti VPC-E1 since it is waterproof although it is still a bit more then I wanted to spend for a play camera.

Damn my life boring and mundane...

Got to love Florida weather. Driving home from the gym, which is only a couple of miles from my home, I had all I could do to see the road through the rain and when I get to my house the sun is out and everything is dry.

Yesterday I went over to my neighbor's place at the request of his daughter. She told me to take whatever I wanted in the cabinet just outside of what was his bedroom. Didn't really get any work done today other then a mainstream site that did as a favor for my artist friend Christina. She did all the design of the site and then I took her Photoshop documents and used them to build her website. I mostly did it as a favor but she is giving me one of her pieces that I like a lot. Got dressed to go to the gym and then went to the beach instead. The tide was super high and the wind was so strong that I couldn't use my beach umbrella due to the wind. Water is still that lovely bath water warm that I love so much.

Went into water a few times but water was too rough for my liking although bouncing around on the waves and fighting the undertow did get me some exercise so at least I don't feel as guilty for not making it to the gym.

Oddly the guy that did a few of my tattoos was at the same beach. Took a minute to recognize him and I still wasn't completely sure so I walked over to him so that I could see if he had a face tattooed on his throat, which he did.

My life has gotten really boring lately. Haven't been clubbing and doing any real partying. Guess a lot has to do with my neighbor dying. He was always good for the late night knock on the door or phone call wanting to hit some strip club or something. It really wouldn't have been too great now that I'm in a relationship which makes me think about how odd it is that he dyed just as I was getting into a relationship.

Sometimes it really does seem like that is a plan to everything although I haven't a fucking clue what it is.

Just a day of slaving to the keyboard trying to get a little bit caught up in work planned for today. Last night Angel gave me a drive full of iMovie projects that I'm going to start chopping up in Final Cut Express but first I'll be getting some of my other work done.

Turned on the TV and then saw a plane crash into the second World Trade Center tower. KInd of sat there in shock for a few days just watching everything over and over again.

I've been ripping them using Handbrake to a FireWire drive and using iTunes steaming to the AppleTV player that is connected to our living-room TV. This is working out to be a perfect solution as we now always have a bunch of movies that we haven't watched yet to choose from when we want to watch a movie. Probably going to pickup a second AppleTV player so that I can hook it up to our bedroom TV.

Today I had planned on going to the gym but instead ended up looking for one of my cats that went missing yesterday and also doing some much needed yard work. Been a long day of work...
I had to be home anyway for Fedex to deliver Final cut Express that the moronic software supplier had mandated that I have to sign in person for.
