It's the last day of 2006. This has been a very good year for me and I have much to be thankful for.

Suppose to go out with a bunch of friends tonight to Voodoo but I've been feeling like I may be coming down with a cold the last few days so I'm going to see how I feel tonight but I do really want to get out and party.

Feeling very refreshed after taking yesterday off. I'll have to remember to do this more often.

I didn't shoot it but I did the edit of the full video that is in her member's area plus doing this preview.

Slept in this morning until almost 11 but woke up with a hideous headache. Took stuff for my headache including Imitrex which helped enough that I made it to the gym but I'm basically taking the rest of the day off as I'm feeling very worn down.

Actually I'm not even thinking about next year's hurricane season yet but got woken up by the storm shutter installer to let me know he is coming by today.

Having storm shutters installed over my garage door. It's a double car door and last hurricane it almost blew in despite it being a hurricane rated door. I had to back my car against it to prevent it from blowing in so now I'll have shutters over it for the next hurricane.

I'm guessing that this should keep my gararge door from blowing in even in the worse of hurricanes.

Hopefully now that I've bought even more storm shutters, every opening in my house except for my outward opening steel front door, we won't have anymore hurricanes but if we do I should be nice and safe.

I'm thinking that I should buy a fire axe incase for some reason my front door can't be opened and I've got all the other openings to my house shuttered up.

Fuck I hate these hurricanes. Never in my life did I think I would own a generator, almost 200 gallons of fuel for it and now I'm thinking of buying a fucking fire axe to break out of my own home.

Anyway kind of early to be thinking about hurricanes as the season just ended.

It's the end of another year. This has been a year of much personal growth for me. I find myself in a pretty decent place in life as this year comes to an end. I have much to be thankful for but there is still so much more that I seek. Hopefully this coming year will be as great as this last one was for me.

Still would be asleep if it wasn't for people text messaging my phone "Merry Christmas."

Had a few friends over for an impromptu dinner then went out to Voodoo and didn't get in until almost 4am. Drank enough that I should be hung over but oddly I'm not although I do feel very bloated.

No plans today other then to relax and probably piss a lot.

Overcast, dark, and dreary here this morning but now the sun is out.

Not much going on in my mundane life with just a day of errands and work planned.

Earlier this year DirecTV announced that we would be getting XMRadio as part of their service. I ran out and got a cable to hookup my Tivo to the stereo so that I could enjoy it but then never used it. Earlier this week I'm playing around with my neighbor's stuff and I'm like this is fucking great. Been listening to "The System" and "BPM" a lot over the last few days and loving it.

Will probably just spend this evening with a few close friends at my place. Was going over to my neighbor's place but he just called to let me know that my tranny friends aren't welcome since the straight girl that is bringing her daughter doesn't want to freak her out. Guess he is going to have to hide his hooker habit and keep his lesbian friends in the closet.

Really I just look forward to the holidays being over and things returning to normal. It's not that I dislike the holidays but I don't really enjoy them either.

The traffic has been really bad the last few days and trying to get anywhere is a real pain in the ass. Yesterday after accessing Google Maps on my cell phone and seeing a giant red line from Miami to Fort Lauderdale I ended up taking the beach route which is usually pretty fast but it took me almost two hours to get home.

Going out with a friend for her birthday to Voodoo Lounge tonight. Went out Friday night to a woman's bar and last night to a strip club so I'm a bit fried after two nights of partying but I promised that I would go out with her tonight.

Finally watched Brokeback Mountain last night. I really dislike cowboy movies even though it took place in modern times, actually expected the movie to be set to be in the 1800s before watching it, so I had to force myself to watch it. I lived in San Francisco for a few years and with the weather the way it is here today it feels just like a typical San Francisco with a damp chill in the air. Personally I find hearing the same Christmas music each year after year nauseating and there just is no escaping it as it is even being played in the trendy stores that usually have club music playing. Can't wait to go grocery shopping later today and push a cart to the beat of Jingle Bells, not.

I guess I could wear my iPod while shopping but I'm already out of touch with reality enough without not being able to hear anything around me.

In just over a month things will get back to normal and the days will soon even be getting longer. On the minus side the older I get the faster times seems to fly by and I ain't getting no younger.
